Lower North Island Workshops

Agency & Mana in Education

Manawatu

Date: Tuesday 2nd August, 2022
Time: 9:15am—2:30pm
Venue: All Sorts Cafe and Training, 515 Main Street, Palmerston North

Cost: Free (Your family must be eligible for disability support services to attend this workshop. Please contact Parent to Parent if you are unsure of your eligibility.)

Do you have a disabled child or child with a health impairment at school? Learn how to get the best outcomes for your child with an Individualised Education Plan (IEP).

As a parent or caregiver of a student with learning support needs you have an important role to play in your child’s education. A partnership between you, the school and other professionals will enable your child to progress at their own pace towards customised goals, and to make the most out of their time at school.

This informative workshop will lead you through the IEP process, how to have productive IEP meetings, how to foster inclusion in the classroom, and the types of funding available to you. Don’t miss this chance to ensure your child reaches their full potential at school.

Or contact Janine at Parent to Parent for more information.
