Care Matters Palmerston North Workshop

The Journey to Adulthood and Life After School

This event is for parents, carers and whānau of disabled young people from early teens to late 20s who want to start thinking about the future.

We will explore what a full and purposeful adult life can look like, including learning, work, hobbies, places to live, and the people we enjoy spending time with. The session will focus on starting early, exploring different pathways, and understanding what support may be available.

We will also create space for whānau to think about their own future as parenting roles change over time.

A practical, positive conversation about planning ahead and creating good lives.
