New Diagnosis, What Now – Care Matters Workshop

Supporting someone who has recently received a diagnosis can bring a mix of emotions, questions, and uncertainty. This free Care Matters workshop creates a supportive space to connect with others, and explore what might help next.

Designed for family, whānau, and carers of children and adults with disabilities, this workshop is led by facilitators with lived experience.

We will discuss what a new diagnosis can mean, with a focus on:

  • Funding
  • Exploring a diagnosis
  • Wellbeing
  • Who does what
  • Your rights
